Last night, I was SUPPOSED to go to a screening of The Change Up starring Jason Batemen and Ryan Reynolds BUT Daymz had a late start and missed the 6:30pm start time, oh well. Being that it was 90 degrees and too hot to do much else, I decided to catch a movie anyway. I made my way to 23rd st & 8th ave to watch Cowboys & Aliens starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford directed by Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man) and it was OOC BUT I mean that in the best possible way! This was the most creative movie I’ve seen in ages. A cross between a classic western and modern scifi thriller, Daniel Craig stars as a bad ass cowboy who wakes up in the desert with no memory. He has super fighting skills and is fashioned with an odd bracelet that clearly comes from another time since it is 1875. Before you know it, a fine looking Craig with a body to KILL finds himself battling with everyone in town and later creatures from the sky. Ford brings back nostalgic memoies of Indiana Jones and Olivia Wilde shines in a supporting role helping to lead the fight to fend of the Aliens. Lots of suspense, action, and jump out of your seat moments. Cowboys & Aliens is a must see 4 sure!
